The mopping mode that is the basic one uses the same reservoir of water as the vacuuming mode. This is ideal for spills that are not too serious, but you cannot control the amount of water that it uses. That said, it does an excellent job of removing pet hair, with a higher percentage of hair removal than the Roborock S7.
3. Miele RX2
Known for quietly effective home appliances Miele's RX2 robot vacuum has excellent cleaning power, gorgeous design, and a great navigation. However, it has some operational hiccups that keep it from ranking as the best overall smart robot vacuum.
The RX2 comes with a dual-sensor mapping system which uses LIDAR to map an area and a pair of 3D scanning cameras to detect and avoiding obstacles (such as furniture legs or pet waste). Once the room has been defined and assigned, you can assign virtual no-go zones and preferred sections to the robot. You can also change the cleaning options, begin an automatic clean, or view a live feed of the cameras onboard from the main screen.
The RX2's sensors work well by registering furniture and obstructions in real-time. Its sweeping and suction powers are excellent, removing surface litter from medium pile carpeting and also removing embedded dust on bare floors. It's not the fastest robot on the market. As with many others it's not a very good climber and has issues with things like metal threshold transition strips.

Its controls are a bit more basic than the competitors. There's a round cleaning button on the top and you can access it via the app or by voice command with Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also set up a schedule for daily or weekly cleaning, set no-go zones, and view the history of its cleaning. Ion is clad in a sophisticated dark gray plastic that looks and feels appealing in your home. The rear dust bin is easy to empty and removing the filter is just as simple.
5. Eufy 11S
Eufy 11S is an excellent option if you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that is simple and simple at a cost that is low. It's not equipped with some advanced features such as Alexa integration and digital mapping that are found in more expensive models. However, if you don't need these functions, you can save money.

It also has more advanced automation features than most competitors, such as the ability to create virtual boundary markers using its mobile app. Although its application is a bit slow and the 980 may spin out a bit while crossing cables, it's still a very capable robot vacuum.
One thing we really like about the 980 is that it uses its iAdapt 2.0 navigation sensors and its visual simultaneous localisation and mapping technology (or vSLAM) to memorise the floor plan of your home. It then uses that information to create an efficient and consistent cleaning path for each cycle. The result is cleaner floors and a cleaner vacuum than the majority of high-end robot vacuums.
The 980's other features include dual multi-surface rubber brushes which pick up dirt from carpet and hard floors, along with the spinning brush that sweeps debris into the bin of the robotic vacuum. The sensor for floor tracking helps it navigate through furniture as well as along edges and steps. Cliff Detect prevents the Roomba from falling. It can also return automatically to the base station for easy charging between sessions. The bin capacity and battery life of the 980 aren't as impressive as other robot vacuums. However, it is a solid and reliable machine that will keep floors clean for many hours.
